The protest movement is gaining momentum day by day. The pro-democracy movement in Myanmar is intensifying despite the military government's fear of guns. However, the army continued to shoot and arrest protesters. Meanwhile, rebel groups in the country's Chinese state have claimed that 26 Myanmar soldiers were killed in a surprise attack.

The incident took place in the area adjacent to the town of Thantlang and Hakha on Thursday. The rebel group also claims that one of Myanmar's 27 dead was a Captain Rank officer. However, no statement was received from the Myanmar army in this regard.

A spokesman for the Chinland Defense Force (CDF) was quoted by local media as saying that about 30 army members had been trapped in the Khuwalring hills. Within an hour, 18 soldiers were killed.

The soldiers come on motorcycles. We use this opportunity to trap them. On the same day, a column of CDF 50 soldiers was attacked on the Gangau-Hakha highway, 50 km from Hakha. 10 soldiers were killed.

Another CDF member said he saw army drones in the area on Wednesday. The junta was monitoring their movements through the drone. But they did not attack that day. Because, the army was close to the residential area.

Then on Thursday, realizing the opportunity, they launched an attack. The Myanmar army used rocket-propelled grenades and machine guns during the conflict. But they also said there was no damage to the rebel group.

More than 850 protesters have been killed in the country since the military coup on February 1 this year. More than 60 people have been killed in a crackdown on protesters in Myanmar's latest city of Bago, protesters say.
