RAB raids Sirajganj, arrests 2 drug dealers with 1 kg heroin






Two top drug dealers were arrested with 1 kg of heroin in a RAB operation in Sirajganj. RAB carried out this operation under the leadership of Mostafizur Rahman.

A vigilante expedition team of Sadar Company conducted an anti-drug operation on the bridge No. 9 on Dhaka-Rajshahi Highway Road under Tarash police station in Sirajganj district.





At that time, two drug dealers were arrested along with heroin. They also seized 1,070 grams of heroin, a motorcycle used for buying and selling drugs, two mobile phones and Tk 2,000 in cash.

The arrested accused are, Md. Son of late Jobbar Mollah of Bardhanpur village of Durgapur police station of Rajshahi district. Altaf Mollah (40) and Md. Abdus Sobhan Mandal's son from the same area. Joynal (36).

Preliminary interrogation revealed that the drug dealer had been buying and selling illegal narcotics in different areas of Sirajganj district for a long time under the guise of law enforcement agencies.

The arrested drug dealers have been handed over to the Tarash police station of Sirajganj district along with the recovered evidence while filing a case under Section 6 (c) / 41 of the 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016.
