2 arrested with cannabis in RAB operation in Sirajganj. According to RAB, a special company of RAB-12 carried out the operation on the basis of secret information around 12:30 pm on Thursday (August 5).




A vigilante team carried out an anti-drug operation on a paved road in front of Arogya Homoeo Hall in Charia Shikar village on the Dhaka-Rajshahi-bound highway road under Salanga police station in Sirajganj district.




At that time, RAB arrested 02 top drug dealers including 24 (twenty four) kg of narcotic drug cannabis. D-11-6546) and 2 mobiles were seized.



The arrested are,

Md. Rokon Mia (23), father-deceased Abdus Sobhan, Sang-Shantipak Paschimpara, Thana-Kotwali, District-Rangpur, and

Md. Abdul Mannan (51), father-deceased Shahdat Hossain, Sang-Kurusha Ferusha Paschimpara, Thana-Fulbari, District-Dinajpur.



Preliminary interrogation revealed that the drug dealer had been buying and selling illegal narcotics in different areas of Sirajganj district for a long time under the guise of law enforcement agencies.



The arrested drug dealers were handed over to Salanga police station of Sirajganj district along with the recovered evidence while filing a case under Section 19 (c) of Table 38 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016.
