According to the RAB, on Tuesday (August 3) at around 4:30 am, RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail Company Commander Major Mohammad Mushfiqur Rahman and Squad Commander ASP Md. The operation was led by Ershadur Rahman.


While on patrol duty at Ghatail bus stand under Ghatail police station of Tangail district, RAB conducted a raid on Chandashi (Paschimpara) village under Ghatail police station of the district on the basis of secret information.

At that time, RAB arrested four people including 29 villages of heroin.

Nazrul Islam (30), father- Fazr Ali. Md. Harun (36), father- Azhar Ali, both Sang- Chandashi. Md. Sajib (22), father-a. Mannan, Sang- Puruli Maijbari Sarva Thana: Ghatail. Md. Farid Hossain (40), father- Newaz Ali, Sang- Berabuchna (Sabujbagh), Thana- Tangail Sadar, All District- Tangail.

They seized 29 (twenty-nine) grams of heroin (valued at approximately Rs. 290,000) and Rs. 60,000 in cash in handcuffs.


When questioned in front of the witnesses, they said that for a long time, heroin has been illegally collected and supplied to other police stations in Ghatail police station of Tangail district for sale.


The arrested accused supplied heroin to various drug addicts in the Ghatail police station area of ​​Tangail district and in the surrounding police station area as per their demand.

A drug case has been filed against the two accused at Ghatail police station in Tangail district.


Rapid Action Battalion
