RAB-12 arrests 3 accused in Tangail with 19 grams of heroin






RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail conducted an operation and arrested 3 accused including 19 (nineteen) grams of heroin (worth about taka. 190,000).

3 arrested with heroin in RAB operation in Tangail. The operation was led by Ershadur Rahman.



The expedition team conducted an operation on a paved road under the gate leading to the central Eidgah ground of Kalihati Upazila under Kalihati Police Station in Tangail District.



At that time, RAB arrested three people including heroin. The arrested accused are,


Md. A. Razzak (35), father-Md. Nurul Islam alias Nuru, Village - Kalihati (Madhyapara),


Md. Shafiqul Islam alias Safi (32), father-Md. Insan Ali, Village - Kalihati (Munsipara), Both Thanas - Kalihati,


Md. Harun Aur Rashid (35), father-Md. Maqbool Hossain, Village - Hamidpur, Thana - Ghatail, All Districts - Tangail.


 


 


 


When questioned in front of the witnesses, the accused said that for a long time they have been illegally collecting heroin and supplying it to other police stations in Kalihati and Ghatail police stations of Tangail district for sale.


 

The accused supplied heroin to various drug dealers in Kalihati and Ghatail police station areas of Tangail district as well as in the surrounding police stations.



A drug case has been filed against the arrested accused under Section 37 (1) (6) (b) of the Narcotics Control Act 2016 at Kalihati Police Station in Tangail District.
