RAB-12 has arrested two top drug dealers with heroin worth Tk 24 lakh in Tangail. .


The Special Company's vigilante team carried out an anti-drug operation on a paved road adjacent to the gate on the south side of the Eastern Railway Station under Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station in Tangail district.



At that time, RAB arrested 244 (two hundred and forty four) village heroin and 2 drug dealers. Two mobile phones used for buying and selling drugs and Rs 2,000 in cash were seized from them.


The arrested accused are, the deceased A. of Khaledpur village of Nawabganj police station of Dinajpur district. Razzak's son said. Sentu Mia (55) and the deceased A. Mannan's son said. Saidur Rahman (65).



Preliminary interrogation revealed that these drug traffickers had been buying and selling illegal narcotics in different areas of Tangail district for a long time under the guise of law enforcement agencies.


The arrested drug dealers have been handed over to Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station in Tangail along with the recovered evidence.
