RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail Company Commander Squadron Leader Mohammad Ilias Khan and Squad Commander Assistant Superintendent of Police Md. Ershadur Rahman and Magistrate Shamima Yasmeen, Upazila Nirbahi Magistrate, on Wednesday (June 2). Led the expedition.



An expedition team was charged under Section 53 of the Consumer Protection Act 2009 by conducting a mobile court operation against the manufacture of adulterated ice cream and jorda at the Rob Ice Cream and Ratan Pati Jorda factories under Madhupur police station in Tangail district.


The accused are,


Md. Mostakin Hossain (30), father - Md. Rafiqul Islam, Sang - Sirajganj Sadar, Thana - Sirajganj Sadar, District - Sirajganj (Rob Ice Cream) in cash 1,00,000 (one lakh) rupees, and


Md. Russell Mia (45), father- Ashab Ali, Sang- Tengri, Thana- Madhupur, District- Tangail (Ratan Pati Jordda) was fined Rs 50,000 in cash and two factories were sealed by the magistrate.
