RAB arrests 2 top drug dealers in Sirajganj's Salanga







RAB has arrested a drug dealer in Sirajganj

RAB has arrested two top drug dealers including Yaba in Salanga of Sirajganj. According to RAB, on Wednesday (June 18) at 8 pm RAB-12 Adjutant and Ops Officer Assistant Superintendent of Police. Mostafizur Rahman led the operation.



A vigilante expedition team of Sadar Company conducted an anti-drug operation in front of Dakshinpara Jame Samjid in Erandah village under Salanga police station in Sirajganj district and arrested two top drug dealers with 100 (one hundred) pitch yaba tablets. During this time 3 mobile phones used for buying and selling drugs were seized from them.



The arrested accused are,


Mubarak Hossain (25), father-Md. Abu Sama Talukder, Sang-Erandah Uttarpara, Thana-Salanga, and

Shahin Sheikh (22), father-Md. Mojibar Rahman, Sang-Charpara, Thana-Sirajganj Sadar, both districts-Sirajganj.


Preliminary interrogation revealed that these drug traffickers had been buying and selling illegal narcotics in different areas of Sirajganj district for a long time under the guise of law enforcement agencies.




The arrested drug dealers were handed over to Salanga Police Station along with the recovered evidence while filing a case under Section 10 (a) of Table 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016.
