RAB-12 arrested 4 drug dealers including cannabis, domestic liquor, 2 lakh 30 thousand taka and 1 accomplice in a raid in Kamarkhand and Tarash of Sirajganj.

 




4 drug dealers including 1 woman arrested in RAB operation in Sirajganj

RAB-12 has arrested 4 drug dealers including cannabis, domestic liquor, Tk 2 lakh 30 thousand and 1 woman in a raid in Kamarkhand and Tarash of Sirajganj. According to RAB, on Wednesday (June 9) at around 3 pm on the basis of secret information, the acting company commander of RAB-12's special company, Assistant Superintendent of Police Mr. The RAB carried out this operation under the leadership of John Rana.


A vigilante team of the Special Company conducted an anti-drug operation on the north side of the North Bengal-bound highway from Dhaka on the south side of the house of Mohammad Abdul Majid, father-deceased Rostam Sheikh of Char Jhail Paschimpara village under Kamarkhand police station.



At that time, two drug dealers were arrested along with 500 (five hundred) villages of cannabis. 01 mobile phone used for buying and selling drugs and 2 lakh 30 thousand (two lakh thirty thousand) cash for selling cannabis were seized from them.



The arrested accused are,


Md. Hafizur Rahman (38), father-deceased Azizar Rahman,

Delete: Rahima Begum (33), husband-Md. Hafizur Rahman, both permanent address-Jatindra Narayan, present Sang-West Fulmati Kalabagan, Thana-Fulbari, District-Kurigram.

The arrested drug dealer was handed over to Kamarkhand police station of Sirajganj district along with the recovered evidence while filing a case under Section 19 (a) / 41 of Table 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016.

In another separate operation on the same day, at around 5 pm, on the basis of secret information, the acting company commander of RAB-12's special company, Assistant Superintendent of Police Mr. Radhab led the operation under the leadership of John Rana.


A vigilante team of the Special Company conducted an anti-drug operation on the west side of the paved road (adjacent to Satata Bricks) from Jhurjhuri Bazar of Vikampur village under Tarash police station in Sirajganj district.


At that time, 2 drug dealers were arrested along with 6.8 liters of domestic distilled liquor. Two mobile phones used for buying and selling drugs were seized from them.



The arrested accused are,


Md. Bhutto Mia (42), father-deceased Quddus Mandal, Sang-Dakshin Kandapara, Thana-Sirajganj Sadar,


Md. Abdus Samad (58), father-deceased Rustam Ali Sarkar, Sang-Paikosha, Thana-Kamarkhand, District-Sirajganj.



He was handed over to Tarash police station in Sirajganj district along with the recovered evidence of filing a case against the arrested drug dealer under Section 32 (a) of Table 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act of 2016.


Preliminary interrogation revealed that these drug traffickers had been buying and selling illegal narcotics in different areas of Sirajganj district for a long time under the guise of law enforcement agencies.
