Arrested along with Yaba in RAB operation in Dhaka Ramna. According to the RAB, in a special operation of the RAB, RAB-12 has arrested 02 top drug dealers including a large quantity of illegal drugs in Dhaka Ramna. Rapid Action


Since its inception, the Battalion (RAB) has been playing a leading role in bringing all kinds of criminals under the purview of the law in order to maintain the overall law and order situation in the country.


The RAB has been conducting regular raids to nab militants, terrorists, organized criminals, snatchers, gamblers, drug dealers, accused in various sensational cases including murder and kidnapping.

Following this, on Monday (May 31) at 5 pm, the acting company commander of the special company of RAB-12, Assistant Superintendent of Police Mr. The expedition was led by John Rana.


A vigilante expeditionary team of the Special Company conducted an anti-drug operation on a paved road in front of Government Officers Quarters (Superior) 18 Bailey Road under Ramna Police Station, Dhaka.


During this time in 1975 (nineteen hundred and seventy five) 2 top drug dealers including Peach Yaba tablets were arrested. 03 mobile phones used for buying and selling drugs were seized from them.



The arrested accused are,


Md. AH Saeed (35), father- Md. Ishaq Ali, Sang-Sherudanga, Thana- Mithapukur, District- Rangpur and

Md. A. Samad (43), father- deceased Abdul Gafur, Sang-Bainya, Thana- Dhamrai, District- Dhaka.

Preliminary interrogation revealed that these drug traffickers had been buying and selling illegal narcotics in Dhaka and various districts for a long time under the guise of law enforcement agencies.


Handed over to Dhaka Ramna Model Police Station,


The arrested drug dealers were to file a case under Section 10 (a) of Section 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act of 2016: They have been handed over to Dhaka Ramna Model Police Station along with the recovered evidence.
