An expedition team conducted an operation at Beltala Mor in Birhati village of Bhunapur upazila of Tangail district.


At that time, a man named Fani Lal Rabidas (51) was arrested with distilled liquor. He is the son of late Shuk Lal Rabidas of Birhati village in Bhunapur upazila of Tangail district. 50 (fifty) liters of distilled liquor (worth about Rs. 15,000) was seized from him.



Interrogation revealed,


When questioned in front of the witnesses, he said that for a long time he had been illegally collecting distilled liquor and supplying it to Bhunapur police station and other police stations in Tangail district.


The arrested accused supplied domestic distilled liquor to various drug addicts in the Bhunapur police station area of ​​Tangail district and in the surrounding police station area as per their demand.

A drug case has been filed against the arrested accused under Section 24 (b) of Section 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act 2016 at Bhunapur Police Station in Tangail District. Since its inception, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been playing a leading role in bringing all types of criminals under the purview of the law with a view to maintaining the overall law and order situation in the country.
