5 arrested in RAB operation in Sirajganj, Bangladesh

Separate raids by RAB at Sadar, Salanga in Sirajganj and Sherpur in Bogra led to the arrest of 05 people and 01 truck, including the accused in the case of abuse of women and children. According to RAB, the operation was carried out on Sunday (June 7) at around 5.30 pm on the basis of secret information led by RAB-12 Deputy Commander Major Md. Mashiur Rahman, PSC and Adjutant and Ops Officer Assistant Superintendent of Police Md. Mostafizur Rahman.



Bogra to Dhaka Highway paved road,


A vigilant expedition team of RAB-12's Sadar Company set up a temporary check post in front of Md. Abdul Quddus's grocery shop on the paved road from Bogra to Dhaka Highway at the corner of Mirzapur Rani Hat under Sherpur Police Station in Bogra district.



During the anti-drug operation, 03 drug dealers were arrested with 169 (one hundred and seventy nine) bottles of Indian imported banned Phensidyl. 01 truck (Regi No. Dhaka Metro-T-15-6951), 05 mobile phones used for buying and selling drugs and cash amounting to Rs 6,000 / - (seven thousand) were seized from them.




The arrested accused are,


Md. Mancher Ali (40), father: deceased Abed Ali, Sang-nar Haripur, Thana-Nawabganj, District-Dinajpur

Md. Fazlu (28), father: Md. Hazrat Ali, Sang-New Babu Para, besides

Md. Saidur Rahman (22), father: Md. Joy Mohammad Sang-Haroa Mission Adarsh ​​Para, both Thana and District- Nilphamari.


Handed over to Sherpur police station.


The arrested drug dealers were handed over to Bogra's Sherpur Police Station along with the recovered evidence while filing a case under Section 13 (c) of Table 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016.

In another separate operation on the same day, at around 3 pm, on the basis of secret information, the acting company commander of RAB-12's special company, Assistant Superintendent of Police Mr. The RAB led by John Rana carried out this operation.


A vigilante team of the Special Company carried out an anti-drug operation in the west side room of the Chauchala tin room at the north door of the house of Md. Altaf Hossain of Mirpur Uttarpara village under Sirajganj Sadar Police Station.


Arrested with heroin,


At that time Md. Altaf Hossain (41) a drug dealer was arrested with 01 (one) gram of heroin. He is the son of Md. Azam Sheikh of Mirpur Uttarpara village in Sirajganj district.

   

He was handed over to the Sirajganj District Sadar Police Station along with the recovered evidence while filing a case against the arrested drug dealer under Section 6 (a) of Table 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016.

In another separate operation on the same day, the company commander in charge of the special company of RAB-12, Assistant Superintendent of Police Mr. The expedition was led by John Rana.


A vigilante expedition team of the Special Company conducted a raid and arrested Md. Saidul Islam (30), an accused in the case of abuse of women and children. He is the son of Md. Abdus Sattar Mallick of Uttarpur village, Rashidpur of Salanga police station of Sirajganj district.
