RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail conducted an operation and arrested 08 accused including 25,600 rupees in cash and 01 bundle of cards from the gambling venue. Radhab informed

The operation was carried out by RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail Company Commander Squadron Leader Mohammad Ilyas Khan on Tuesday (June 6) at 9 am on a tip-off.



An expedition team conducted an operation in the middle of the jute field of Shukkur Ali (50), father-deceased Anshu Mia, on the east side of Battala Road in Singhatia village under Kalihati police station in Tangail district.



The arrested accused are,


Md. Saeed Ali (45), father- deceased- Adu, Sang- Howrahpara, and

Julhas (44), father- deceased- Asak Ali, Sang- Gopalpur,


Md. Fazlu Mia (35), father- deceased- Bisha Mia, Sang- Shihrail,

Manjurul (45), father- deceased- Shahjahan, Sang- Shihrail,


Md. Muktar Hossain (52), father- deceased- Ayed Ali, Sang- Baniafair,

Mecher Ali (28), father- Md. AH Khaleq, Sang- Narandia Daulatpur, Sarb Thana- Kalihati, District Tangail.




From gambling halls,


He was arrested with Rs 25,600 in cash and 1 bundle of cards from the gambling hall.


When questioned in front of the witnesses, the accused said that they themselves were gambling with cards and money.


A case has been filed against the arrested accused under Section 3/4 of the Public Gambling Act of 18 at Kalihati Police Station in Tangail district.
