Two people, including a woman, were arrested with liquor in a Tangail RAB operation
In Tangail, two people were arrested with distilled liquor by the RAB. According to RAB, the operation was carried out on Monday (September 20) at around 10 am on the basis of secret information led by RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail Company Commander Lt. Commander Abdullah Al Mamun, (G), BN.
Radhab conducted the operation on the paved road in front of the main gate of SSS Municipal Ideal High School in Kandapara area of Sadar upazila of Tangail district.
At that time, two persons were arrested in Hatena with 100 liters of domestic distilled liquor. The arrested are. The deceased was identified as Liton Ravi Das, 30, son of Shibu Ravi Das of College Para (Muchipatti) area of Tangail's Sadar upazila. And Bina Ravi Das (42), wife of the deceased Dulal Ravi Das of the same area.
When questioned in front of the witnesses, they said that for a long time, the drugs were being collected illegally and sold to various drug dealers in different areas of Tangail district.
A case has been filed against the arrested accused under Section 24 (b) of Section 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act 2017 at Tangail Sadar Police Station.
