In Bogra, 1,980 pitches of yaba were seized by the RAB








Two people were arrested in Bogra along with yaba

According to RAB, the operation was carried out on Monday (September 20) at around 3pm on the basis of secret information led by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) John Rana, the acting company commander of RAB-12's special company.



The Special Company's vigilante operation team under the Sadar Police Station of Bogra district carried out an anti-drug operation on a paved road on the north side of the Saba Housing Estate Jame Mosque.



At that time, 1,980 people were arrested along with two drug dealers. Three mobile phones and three thousand rupees in cash were seized from them.



The arrested accused are, Md. A. Rashid (30), father- deceased Jamal Uddin, village- Sepahipara. And Shawkat Alam (26), father-Md. Nazibul Alam, Village-West Merangloa, both Thana-Ramu, District-Cox's Bazar.



The arrested drug dealers, who were filing a case under Section 10 (a) of Table 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016, have been handed over to the Bogra District Sadar Police Station along with the recovered evidence.
