In Tangail, 6 people were arrested with heroin and liquor in the hands of RAB








In a separate operation in Tangail, RAB-12 arrested six people with beer, domestic liquor and 50 grams of heroin.

In Tangail, RAB arrested 6 people with 50 grams of heroin and domestic liquor. According to RAB, the operation was carried out on Sunday (September 19) at around 5 am on the basis of secret information led by RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail Company Commander Lt. Commander Abdullah Al Mamun, (G), BN.




The RAB expedition team conducted an operation on a paved road on Victoria Road in front of the Samsung showroom in the registry area of ​​Sadar police station in Tangail district.



At this time Md. Rashedul Islam (31), father- deceased- Badsha Mia, village- Patail Kandi, Thana- Bhunapur. Govinda Sarkar (42), father- deceased- Haridas Sarkar, village- Akur Takur Para (Ward 17), Thana- Tangail Sadar. Md. Alamgir Hossain (45), father- deceased- Abdul Barek, village- Agbethai, Thana- Tangail Sadar All District- Tangail. Besides, Rajib Ahmed (31), father- deceased- Nurul Islam, village- Mahdipur, Thana- Bagha, District- Rajshahi. The RAB arrested them along with 8 cans of beer, 8 bottles of domestic liquor, 5 mobiles, 5 SIM cards and Tk 2,100 in cash.



On the same day, separate raids were carried out on the paved road in front of Sonia Nursing Home and Diagnostic Center Unit-1 adjacent to the new bus stand in Sadar upazila of Tangail district at around 8:30 am.


The RAB arrested two persons along with heroin. 50 grams of heroin, two mobile phones, two SIM cards and Tk 3,160 in cash were seized from them. The arrested persons were identified as Md. Manikul Islam (45). And Abdul Wadud (35), son of the late Shahjahan Ali of the same village.



When questioned in front of the witnesses, the accused said that they have been illegally collecting beer, domestic liquor and heroin and selling them to various drug dealers in different areas for a long time.



Two cases have been filed against the arrested accused under the Narcotics Control Act at Tangail Sadar Police Station.
