Arrested with heroin in the hands of RAB in Tangail. According to RAB, the operation was carried out on Thursday (September 9) at around 5:30 am on the basis of secret information led by RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail Company Commander Lt. Commander Abdullah Al Mamun, (G), BN.
RAB's expedition team stopped at Kortia Sadat Bazar bus stand under Tangail district's Sadar police station. Sanwar Hossain, 50, father-in-law, conducted the raid in front of Newaz Ali's Mecca Medina Fruit Store.
At this time, including heroin. RAB arrested a man named Ashraful Islam (58). He was arrested with 105 grams of heroin (worth about Rs 10 lakh 50 thousand), 1 mobile phone, 1 SIM card and Rs 1,600 in cash. He is the son of late Raichuddin of Matikata village under Godagari police station in Rajshahi district.
When questioned in front of the witnesses, he said that for a long time he had been illegally collecting heroin from different areas of Rajshahi district and supplying heroin to various drug dealers and drug addicts as per their demand through mobile phone calls in different police stations in Tangail district.
A case has been filed against the arrested accused under Section 6 (c) of Section 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016 at Tangail District Sadar Police Station.
