RAB has arrested two members of a motorcycle smuggling ring in Sirajganj. A vigilante expedition of a special company led by John Rana began the rescue operation using modern information technology and intelligence surveillance.

At that time, 2 active members of the smuggling ring along with 1 stolen motorcycle were arrested. 2 mobile phones used in the theft were seized from them.

The arrested are, Md. Garishapara village of Chankkor of Gurudaspur police station of Natore district. Md. Montaz Sonar. Sohail Rana alias Rana (28) and son of late Shahdat Hossain Sarkar of Khalifapara village of Chanchkor of the same police station. Rakibul Hasan alias Rocky Pramanik (24).

Preliminary interrogation revealed that these smugglers had been stealing in different areas of Natore, Sirajganj and Bogra districts for a long time by evading the law enforcement agencies.

The arrested smugglers have been handed over to Baraigram police station in Natore district along with recovered evidence.
