RAB raided Tangail and arrested 02 accused including 1480 kg of rubber (valued at approximately Rs. 294,000) and 50 (liters) of domestic distilled liquor (valued at approximately Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 15,210 in cash for sale of drugs).

Two arrested with liquor in RAB operation in Tangail, rubber seized. According to RAB, (July 11) at around 5 am on the basis of secret news, RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail Company Commander Major Mohammad Mushfiqur Rahman and Squad Commander ASP Md. The expedition team conducted a raid at Dharati Khalpar village in Madhupur upazila of Tangail district and recovered 1480 kg of rubber (valued at approximately Tk. 294,000).

 

 


At the same time another separate operation was conducted in Madarjani (College Para) area of ​​Tangail Sadar Upazila. During this time, two people were arrested with distilled liquor.

 

 

 

 


The arrested are Azhar Sikder (40) of Tangail district, father- Shahjahan Sikder, mother- deceased- Surya Banu,

Village- Gorai Joyer Para, Thana- Mirzapur.

 

 

 

And Phulkumari (50), father- deceased- Shuklal Rabidas, mother- deceased- Janiya Rabidas, village- Madarjani (College Para), Upazila- Tangail Sadar. 2 rubber arrested with liquor seized in RAB raid in Tangail

 

 

 

They are accompanied by 50 (liters) of distilled liquor (valued at approximately Rs. 15,000) and Rs. 15,000 in cash.

210 rupees was seized.

 

 

 

 


When questioned in front of the witnesses, the two accused said that the drugs have been domestic liquor for a long time.

Illegally collected and supplied for sale in Mirzapur and Tangail Sadar Thana and other Thana areas of Tangail District.

 

 

 

The two accused have been arrested in different parts of Tangail district including Madhupur and Tangail Sadar police stations.

Drugs are supplied to domestic drug brewers according to their needs.

 

 

 

Drug cases have been filed against the arrested at Madhupur and Tangail Sadar police stations in Tangail district.
