The arrested drug dealers were handed over to Ghatail police station in Tangail district along with the recovered evidence while filing a case under Section 10 (a) of Table 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016.



In a separate operation on Monday (July 28) at around 8:15 am, a vigilante team of RAB-12 Sadar Company conducted an anti-drug operation in front of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited on Sirajganj Road on the south side of Dhaka-Rajshahi Highway Road under Hatikumrul Union under Salanga Police Station in Sirajganj district.

At that time, two drug dealers were arrested with 56 (fifty seven) pitch yaba tablets and 6 (six) grams of cannabis.

The arrested drug dealers were handed over to Salanga police station of Sirajganj district along with the recovered evidence while filing a case against them under Section 10 (a) of Table 38 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act 2016 and Section 19 (a) of Table 36 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act 2016.


Preliminary interrogation revealed that these drug traffickers have been evading the eyes of law enforcement agencies for a long time


He was buying and selling illegal drugs in different areas of Sirajganj and Tangail districts.
