In separate raids of RAB in Ullapara and Salanga of Sirajganj, 01 people were arrested in the mobile court of RAB for making and selling agrovet drugs without approval and a total of 04 people including 03 people including 03 banned drugs (Tapentadol) were arrested.

On Tuesday (May 25), the operation team of RAB-12 conducted an operation at Dragson Pharmaceuticals in Srikola, Ullapara, Sirajganj.



At that time, a man named Md. Wahed Ali (38) was sentenced to 15 days imprisonment and fined Tk. 150,000 for making and selling agrovet drugs without approval. He is the son of Abdul Gafur of Srikola village under Ullapara police station in Sirajganj district.

After reviewing the overall situation in collaboration with RAB, in the presence of the Executive Magistrate of the mobile court Mr. Moin Uddin, Adjutant and Ops Officer of A-Zone, Sirajganj and RAB-12, Assistant Superintendent of Police Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Done.

On the same day (May 25) at around 10 pm, the company commander in charge of the special company of RAB-12, Assistant Superintendent of Police Mr. A vigilante expedition of a special company led by John Rana conducted a separate operation.



Meanwhile, Hatikumrul AHM Sakhwat Hossain of Sirajganj Road under Salanga Police Station of Sirajganj District conducted an operation in front of Jaya Medical near World Road in front of General Hospital. From there, 03 drug dealers were arrested with 565 pitch (Centradol-378, Cynta-190, Lopenta-10, Centra-7) Tapentadol group drug Tapentadol tablets.

At that time, 4 old button mobile phones and Tk 4,600 in cash used for buying and selling the drug Tapentadol tablets were seized from them.


The arrested accused are Md Liton Ahmed, 35, son of late Golbar Hossain of Charia Shikar Uttar Para village under Sirajganj district's Ullapara police station and Md Nazrul Islam, 63, son of late Alhaj Mosharraf Hossain of the same village.


And Md. Ahsan Habib Talukder (30), son of late Nurnabi Talukder of Saratoul village of the same upazila.


By evading the law enforcement agencies,

Preliminary interrogation revealed that the drug dealers had been buying and selling illegal drug Tapentadol tablets in different areas of Sirajganj district for a long time under the guise of law enforcement agencies.


The arrested drug dealers have been handed over to Sirajganj's Salanga police station along with the recovered evidence while filing a case under Section 29 (a) of Table 38 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act 2016.
